Please consider a vegan diet for the Earth, for the animals and for your health.

A vegan is someone who does not consume or wear any animal products. Vegans avoid: all meat, dairy, animal clothing (leather, silk, and wool), and products tested on animals.
Some of the most dangerous industries to the environment are the meat and dairy industry. Not only are rainforests being cut for livestock, but also our own old growth forests. Factory farms, literally factories containing thousands of animals in close quarters, extract thousands of pounds of manure into our water systems and our land daily. They consume over one third of our natural resources.
Pounds of edible product that can be produced on an acre of prime land:
The simple answer is to adopt a vegan diet. By abstaining from meat and dairy you will not only save thousands of acres of land but also innocent animal lives.
Consuming meat and dairy can not only be detrimental to the Earth but also to your health. By becoming vegan you can avoid the following diseases:
Arthritis, Breast Cancer, Constipation, Diverticuloses, Heart Disease, Hypoglycemia, Kidney Disease, Osteoporosis, Prostate Cancer, Strokes, Asthma, Colon Cancer, Diabetes, Gallstones, Hypertension, Impotence, Obesity, Peptic Ulcers, Salmonellas, and Trichinosis.
